Black MCM Ashtray

Early 1900s,the Anchor Packing Company brand was bought by the Canuck CO. and expanded its operations. They opened a Metal Products Division and formed National Refractories Limited to manufacture fire bricks and clay. During this period, they also renamed themselves as Joseph Robb & Company.

This ashtray is a commemoration of the 50 year anniversary of the 2 companies mentioned above. The gold stamp shows 1911 and the secondary date appears to be 1961.

In great condition, the gold edging is wearing in a few spots otherwise in good vintage condition.

Height (at the highest point) - 2.25 inches
