English Victorian Style Gold Bookends, Made in England

Set of gold coloured Victorian style bookends in good shape. There is some surface damage on the front of one bookend (pic # 4) however they are sturdy and strong and sit solid on a surface. These are older as can be seen by the green cloth on the bottom and its age. They are stamped 'Made in England'. Not sure if this is lightweight wood or composite.
Beautiful addition to a library or office.
